About Senior Living Community
Choosing care for a parent is one of the biggest decisions a family makes — emotionally and financially. Most of the information online is published by companies paid to refer you to specific communities. This site is different: an independent directory plus plain-language guides, built to help you decide well.
How we source facility data
- Government records first. Skilled nursing facilities come with federal CMS Care Compare records (star ratings, inspections, staffing). Assisted living and small care homes are licensed and inspected by each state; we link to the official license lookup for every state we cover.
- Verified against current sources. Names, addresses, phone numbers, and care levels are checked against communities’ own listings and public sources. Every facility page shows its verification date and sources.
- Corrections welcome. Communities and families can report updates — listings improve over time.
Facility details change frequently. Always confirm availability, pricing, and services directly with a community before making decisions.
What we are not
We are not a placement or referral service, and we don’t accept referral fees from communities. We don’t provide medical, legal, or financial advice — our guides tell you when a question belongs with a doctor, an elder law attorney, or a benefits counselor, and where to find free help.
Advertising
This site may show clearly-labeled advertising. Advertisers never influence which communities appear in the directory, how they’re presented, or what our guides say.
